Xbox Series X White Digital ESD Bypass

For some reason Microsoft decided it was a good idea to change the ESD booster chip on the digital version of the Xbox series X does anyone know a bypass on these if so that would be great. I masked it of with capton tape and the tape pulled it off of the board. So it is probably still good but I would have to reball it and would anyone know what size solder balls to use?

since XSX uses same ESD BOOSTER as XOX, the bypass method is same too.

But the Xbox series X digital is has a different size chip than the Xbox series X

it looks more like the old ONE S booster chip to me. I dont see any XSX digital myself yet so you might go check if the label on the IC says"PXD" or what

It does say pxd there is no marking on the board for chip direction so I did the bypass one way and it didn’t work so now I’m doing it the other direction I’ll let you know what I find out

The bypass did nothing I tested with the diode mode and every pin worked except pin 13 and 15

Does anyone know what those pins 13 and 15 I know one is ground but I don’t know about the other this would be an easy fix if i could grind a schematic but there really isn’t anything on this console. If anyone has any information that would be amazing.

I had a Series X Digital that had a flickering display and would ultimately cut out after replacing the HDMI port. I suspected that the ESD IC was at fault, and I can confirm that the Xbox One S ESD IC works with the Series X digital. Replacing the IC also did fix the issue I had

Hi. I have the same problem with the ESD BOOSTER. I already have the component but but i make a mistake i remove the part and i dont know the orientation to install the new one. Can someone share a picture or let me know how it does on the board.

Thanks
