I’m going to try to make a long story short. One morning my Xbox was working fine, but that afternoon, my neighbor’s tree was struck by lightning. The lightning ran down a dog lead connected from the tree to the house and blew open some of his siding—it was pretty powerful. The thunder was so loud that everyone dropped to the ground. The next morning, when I turned on my Xbox, my controller connected fine, and the Xbox booted up with all its normal noises, but there was no display. I’ve swapped HDMI cables, tried different TVs and monitors, and tried holding the bind and eject buttons while turning it on to reset the graphic settings, but I still get nothing. The TV recognizes the HDMI cable is plugged in; there’s just no display, and it says there’s no signal. I also can’t connect to the Xbox via remote stream; it just takes forever and never connects.
What do you guys think this is do you think it’s a simple broken HDMI port and the lightning is just a coincidence or do you think one of the chips got fried on the inside
