XZZ Schematics tool

Does anybody use the XZZ tool (https://global.wmdang.com/)for game systems? I see it’s $40 a month but no preview of what it does so my question on that is does it work like the cell phone schematics so if you click on a component it highlights a line on where it connects to? I ask because I have a couple water damaged Switch consoles that have the pad one one side of the component totally eaten away by corrosion. TIA

no idea if it has Switch boardviews, and i’m unsure if this program includes schematics in general (outside of what you could get anyway online in pdf form) . (though tbh i think you are confusing schematics and boardviews here)

Phoneboard last I checked had a good chunk of boardviews for a good number of phones pre-built in and of course you can just download boardviews and schematics for use in openboardview (or other). I don’t think regular rev Switch or OLED boardview (and definately not schematic) is avaliable online but there is a Switch Lite board view which was user made and is very usable for the other revs.

That being said and for your given problem. you have a number of boards, so you could just put your meter in continuity and check for yourself in person between boards, often times it’s quicker.

It does have switch boardview/traces for Switch and OLED I believe, but no schematic, so you wont know the value or what components out there but just the traces.
FYI, XZZ charge separately for game console and computers/Laptop,phones. If you do both scenario, you gotta pay extra license :pensive:

So you can click on a end of a “resistor” and it will highlight where it goes to?

uSoldering has switch board view on their website
