It’s an Erista. The reading is in fact with the emmc disconnected.

As for the IC, here is the picture. They seemed brand new honestly and I used their M92/BQ/P13 more than once and they usually work. Although I don’t have that much experience.
I have a bunch of donor boards but I never reballed a chip and don’t have the stencils. I could try that as a last resort but it still doesn’t explain not being able to boot into Linux right?
Also here is what it looks like in the package. Though it most likely means nothing.
